Solar and wind power grew fast enough (+498 TWh and +137 TWh) to keep up with rising global electricity demand (+603 TWh) in the first 3 quarters of 2025. Fossil generation stagnated (-17 TWh). Declines in China (-52 TWh) and India (-34 TWh) tipped the balance of the global trend
